Limestone country.

Rocky rural scene,
Limestone outcrops are exposed,
Beneath green carpet.


The under-lying  rock in this area ,where my farm is, is limestone. Being a soft rock it slowly erodes and caves are formed such as Waitomo caves.There are also caves on farms close to us.
