Channel

The gloom was unremitting today, plus wind and driving rain.The kayak launch and the channel looked uninviting. (extra) There probably wouldn't be any photo at all without Olympus weather sealing.
I drove Brooklyn son to the airport this morning, and was reminded how our freeways are not designed to let the water drain away - on the contrary great streams were flowing from the shoulders onto the carriageway. But we made it, and his flight was "only" delayed two hours.
Now with the last visitor gone we are back to normal - though with this weather I wish I had elected to keep the decorations up until Candlemass.It may be a week of dog portraits here!
