Spiffy

An unfortunate event led to a shower, after which my mom looked and obviously felt very spiffy. She said hi to nearly everyone we passed in the halls and even stopped to do a little wave + jig for some ladies at an activity. Most touching, and possibly simply the result of feeling clean, moist, and cared for?, she said, in her own word-salad kind of way, "You go. You have to live your life. When you come it's fine. I love you."
