Connection

Mark  (Mark 2013) & I ran out to the Lummi reservation today to see what might be out and about  and this beautiful hawk was hunting in the flooded areas. This picture isn't all that great because I had to take it through the windshield but I loved her/his expression. Hawks here are pretty skittish and take off if you stop the vehicle or get to close so I felt a connection for a moment and sure enough just as I clicked the shutter it flew off.
