Young galah

This young galah was making a big fuss in the garden today - she thought her parents should feed her, but they weren't in the least bit interested. I think she'll have to start fending for himself.

They are endemic to Australia, and very widespread. They are one of the few birds that seems to have benefited from European settlement and farming.
