The inscription on the rear of the plinth of James Wolfe's statue by the Royal Greenwich Observatory in Greenwich Park was damaged by shrapnel from a German bomb in 1940.

Walked through the park, then over Blackheath again. Didn't quite make it 10,000 steps initially, but had an errand to run later, which took me over the mark.
