AYE MESSAGING

We love our youngest granddaughter 'aye' messaging style! So much for the sandwiches that were to sustain her through three flights!  The travelers are now en route and should land in Toronto at 11:40 pm,  then Saskatoon at 5 am our time.  Fingers crossed. 

We are bereft here. The house is so quiet, sombre and dull without our sparkling young people.  Never mind, tomorrow the school run starts again, giving us the wonderful opportunity to spend some time every day with the amazing ten year old.  I've been enjoying making up his 'fascinating facts of the day' for next week.  These are little facts that he reads aloud to his grandad and which they discuss on the ride to school.  This week it is all about Cheng'e 4 and Yutu.  Did you know that Cheng'e is the Chinese Moon Goddess and Yutu her pet white rabbit?  Truly, every day is a school day.
