No ice or fire!
Christmas decorations down, trees back in the 'yard (where, hopefully, they'll survive until next year), and flat looking very bare.
This afternoon MrM and I had a short walk up the track from Fowberry towards Weetwood Moor, to just past the trig point. According to several newspaper headlines, we were set for a 'cold snap' this weekend, and according to the local forecast it would be sunny all day today. They were both horribly wrong - very grey all day, with a few spots of rain, and extremely mild. We were far too warm in our winter jackets!
There were a few wisps of cloud on Hedgehope Hill to the left, and a great pall of smoke obscuring the view of the Cheviot to the right. Presumably they're burning off some heather, but we couldn't see the flames.
