Go Lynx!!

It was a busy Saturday.
Started my day with run 3 of week 1 of couch to 5k. It was a cold morning and once again I got a little lost within the housing estates of Portlethen. I do like to explore. After my run I began my extensive list of jobs.

Clean out the cupboard under the stairs.
This took me hours. But now for the first time since we moved in, we can actually walk into our wee cupboard. It's tidy, it's organised. There are new coat hooks. A storage hook for the ironing board and iron. A shoe rack. I Realise this is an incrdibly dull paragraph, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of it. And it took hours! I might set up a telly and start spending more time in there.

Did a run to the tip with all the shite I removed from the store mentioned cupboard.

Then it was time to play with my new toy. A garden vacuum. We recently got our garden completely re done and I intend to keep it looking awesome. With that in mind we took a trip to doggies the other day and spent some vouchers we got for Christmas. I got a leaf blower which also functions as a vacuum. Its Ace!! Picked up all my leaves and shredded them to pieces. And it looks a little bit like a bazooka. I love it.

Last job was setting up my motion sensor led light strip in the kitchen. My most recent obsession is smart lighting and motion sensor lighting. I ain't pushing a switch like a chump!
Now whenever we wanted our back door at night our kitchen is automatically illuminated. I love it. It's like living in the future.

During all my jobs, Mrs G cleaned the house, cleaned up all the mess I made after cleaning out the cupboard, and prepared our dinner. Peanut Butter Chicken. A diet friendly dish and it was bloody lovely.

As a reward for all our hard work, we headed out to watch an ice hockey game. Aberdeen Lynx vs Kilmarnock thunder. It was the first game we've ever been to, and it was awesome!

Aberdeen Lynx won the match 11-1.
Really entertaining game. We're going back next week. Might even buy a shirt!
