Blue Streak - The New and Old

Here's my new local transport - it looked a bit racier than this until I put my old not-very-racey saddle on, my old carrier rack and my old handlebar extensions (which matched the old bike quite well!)

It's got some very impressive (to me) modern features - hydraulic disc brakes (I can hear the old boy saying, Peter Kay-style - "Hydraulic disc brakes?? Hydraulic? Disc? Brakes? On a ******** pushbike??!!) and front fork suspension wot you can turn off for cycling on roads to be more efficient! (It seems to make a big difference - didn't know you could do that)

All-in-all I'm very pleased with my new purchase - I just hope the Halfords D-lock does the job when it's parked up!
