Nope, it's not snow - even though you might have thought that looking at the thumbnail. It's crystal white sand from Siesta Beach on Siesta Key, Florida. Try the large view to see the crystals! This beach has been voted #1 in the USA - I can see why. Fortunately, it's closer to me since we've moved . . . about 35 minutes instead of 50.

But I don't come here to lie in the sun or play in the waves (well, sometimes). Instead, I come to dance in Nia class. Once there, I cannot help but take photos. Nia student Anna snapped a photo of me & my instructor/friend Kathy yesterday, which was so lovely . .. find it here.
