Winter Wander

Today was our annual Fungus Group Winter Wander - a chance to blow the Christmas cobwebs away - not that there was much wind. After that, we sat down over lunch to plan next year's programme. I was pleasantly surprised at the turnout - 15 is a very good number for the group and it was a pleasant and sociable meeting even though we didn't find many fungi. I set off home feeling very pleased that it had gone so well, only to realise that I hadn't taken any photos so it was a quick stop at the Edge to get a shot of some sunbeams peeping through the clouds.
