Frozen dinner

This nuthatch is feeding fiercely despite the continually falling snow and his dinner being frozen. I am taking this through my kitchen window. Not only because we have freezing temperatures now but also because it is almost impossible to creep up on the birds just now. They are very skittish due to the resident sparrow hawk about.
