Mrs C dragged me away from work (it's Friday!!) into town to watch "Free Solo" tonight, a film about free soloist (aha) climber Alex Honnold climbing the 3000ft El Capitan rock in Yosemite in 2017...

....without ropes!!!!

Dear oh dear what a film, edge of your cliff seat or what! Again and again. It's a stunning film... many people die climbing without ropes but to watch him discuss why he needed to do it and prepare himself was just fascinating.

Last time I attempted to climb I had shakey leg syndrome!
