Watching her Anthill

I just discovered what the nasty biting ants are doing this winter in the overgrown rose bed, They have made themselves into a bell-shaped pile. I went out to take a blip while we still have snow-free soil.
Of course, Gracie T-t had to rush out and pose where I was pointing the camera. She is not at all camera-shy.
Long strands of grass grow from their winter home.
Soon (tomorrow) I will be treating them to a dose of peppermint oil. I have been told it is the natural way to get rid of them.
