Long Day

Not a day l would like to repeat
Only managed less than three hours sleep but we needed to be off early.
We arrived at the hospital at 7:00am, driven there by Mike our son in law.
First procedure for Mr P in the nuclear science unit went smoothly .
Then there was rather a long wait for his operation which finally went ahead at 4:30:pm.
I took that opportunity to go for something to eat with Rebecca.
Back to the ward at 6:00pm and the consultant came to visit and said it had all been very straightforward.
So very grateful.
He will see us in a month for some results and decide upon the next step.
We were allowed to stay until 10:30pm and l’ve just got in after Rebecca drove me home, going straight to bed, lm shattered.
Possibly Mr P can come home tomorrow :-)
