Train with a difference

Saw a notice in the hotel about a train made out of bricks - think I have actually seen a blip about it at some point.

We went to take a look this morning - quite impressive. It was a joint venture between Morrisons and the council to mark Darlington's link with railway history and it is made out of 18000 + bricks, to look as if is emerging from a tunnel.

After that we had a couple of hours at Beamish trying to get in the Christmas spirit before coming back to reality.

Very grateful to my brother for dad sitting so we could get away but a marked deterioration while we have been away.
