More Chicken Soup

I have a friend who was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday, so I thought I'd make a pot of Jewish penicillin for him. Looks wonderful.

Have you heard of a simmer burner on a stove?  I never had, but when I was at my brother's a couple of weeks ago (making him chicken soup), he had one.  I'm thinking, I have to get a new cooktop!  But who knew, I  have a simmer burner on my current stove. Darn!
