We woke up this morning to a very snowy Aberdeen and went to do some food shopping for Mr & Mrs Scamp. A new baby can be very demanding and they are both very tired but I have no doubt already that they are going to make very good parents.

Tonight we are going to stay with #3 son and his partner for three nights so we will still have opportunities to see Ruaridh before we head home on Saturday.

In my day baby chairs consisted of a piece of material stretched over a metal frame that responded to the baby's movements by gently bouncing. This one has flashing lights and a battery operated swinging motion - how did we survive without one?
