Meikle Bin crash site

A very breezy walk near the top of Meikle Bin, a small peak in the Campsie Fells, 1870 feet. Jude and I sheltered for a spot of lunch on the leeward side.
This wing wreckage marks the site of a fatal accident involving a Fleet Air Arm Fairey Firefly that sadly crashed here in 1950 in low cloud conditions.
