I've lived here for......

......over 30 years but never noticed this!  What is it I hear you ask......or do I?  It's part of the lightening conductor on our church & these appear to be the yearly date stamps when it is tested!  They appear to stop in '09, to be replaced by a plastic sticker. What a shame............
