Worked from home today - and then struggled all day to believe it was actually Friday and therefore almost the weekend.  A nice problem to have.  I did however have to go to the dentist's this afternoon, to get prepped for a new crown.  My dentist is a star though, and even though my previous crown was beyond its guarantee when it broke (after three years), she's managed to wangle a sizeable discount from the lab, so instead of costing me £520 it's 'only' going to be £300.  Tim had a similar experience when he took his new varifocal glasses back to Vision Express to say they weren't working for him - they agreed to refund him in full, which he wasn't expecting.  Useful, as he now needs to buy three separate new pairs!

Got back from the dentist's about 4pm and carried on working for a couple more hours, then roasted up a load of mushrooms and tomatoes for tea.  Tasty on toast, but a bit painful post-dentist!
