THE GOAT

And the other goats and the sheep were still in the meadow near Wuergassen.
A dark day, grey sky, one big cloud covering it, soft rain.
In the afternoon we wanted, no we needed some fresh air and walked down to the river Weser.
We met a friend who had walked much farther than we were prepared to do. We found him a brave man, after having had an operation on his knee, sounded so optimistic about the recovery which would take much time, months actually.
The sheep and goats were busy eating, but this goat was happy with our attention.
