Castleshaw

A quick trip to the upper reservoir hoping to see a reported Red-Breasted Merganser. It was in the company of three male and two female Goosanders as well; another couple of ticks for the year list.
Further to my ramblings on the confusing naming of birds, the Merganser has a scientific name of Mergus serrator whereas it is the Goosander that is named Mergus merganser. I've no idea either!
