And a little rainy too in the evening.
What a lovely catch up I had with Rainie in Oamaru. She is a natural, to see the photos she got with no apparent fuss is quite something.
I then took a quick tour through the Steampunk HQ, not usually my thing but there was a couple of impressive visual light displays.
In the afternoon I visited parents of friends in their beautiful home and garden. And finished off with a quick trip to sleepy Kakanui via Bushy Beach for some seal spotting.
