What a surprise to see this lovely colourful Bullfinch in the garden today.   Actually there were four of them, two males and two females.  Watched them for a while and went into another room to get a better lens and they'd gone when I got back.  

A hive of activity in the village today.  A local farmer was reported missing late last night and the police, mountain rescue, coastguard, and locals have all been out searching for him.  As far as I know he hasn't been found.  Such a shame.
