Butternut

This wasn't the photo I was going to blip today (I'll save my earlier subject for another day) but when I took the roasted butternut squash out of the oven before I added it to my risotto, I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked and just had to get my camera out and try and capture the colour. I am very drawn to these autumnal colours - there must be some reason for it but I have no idea what.

Lots of discussions at work at the moment, as there is a restructure going on, as well as a redevelopment of the physical library space which I think will result in my section being moved to another building :( We'll know more on Monday, but I think there's a lot of change in store, or should I say "opportunities".
