Snow joking

I had just heard the weather on the radio and had thought huh, East coast snow showers will mean Lincolnshire and Yorkshire then - not us. Jumped out of bed, pulled the curtain aside and blimey, it was snowing - and must have been for some time.

By the time Emma was in school, it had stopped snowing, but it lay on lawns and bushes most of the day. The roads cleared up quickly though. On my way back from the supermarket, where I picked up a frozen turkey before they all disappeared, I stopped to take a blip.

I blipped this scene back in July of this year when it looked quite different.

I got to see Emma's nativity play this afternoon. The highlight for me was of course Emma dancing with three others, all in sheep outfits. The music was this, by ZZ Top from the film Back to the Future Part 3. All three of those films I could watch again and again.
