a day of odd jobs

Shop returns are boring but the children also got to spend their vouchers on hiking boots in readiness for bagging a whole heap of Wainwrights this year.

They are enjoying the freedom of school holidays - non-stop play and sleeping wherever they fancy (Zeke’s room generally).

EDIT: Forgot my gratefuls....

1. Hiking boots;
2. The feeling of a niggly task out of the way;
3. Slow cooked dinner - I always feel smug walking into a meal ready to plate up.
