New Start

Come on in, the waves beckoned.  It's really easy, just step closer, they whispered.  They look so inviting, it is difficult to refuse.  So here I am dipping my toe into a New Year.  We can't have one like last year, please.

We have so much to look forward to, so much excitement, a wedding, another far flung trip, maybe, a retirement and who knows what else.

Can I really start again?  Can I reach 1,000 after 8 years.  I used to take some reasonable images, I used to have the motivation to find an image every day, although today, after a whirlwind trip to Northumberland, I snapped so much I drained my battery and can't find my charger.  I hope I can regain the will and direction and I would like to think that I have never lost my appreciation of all things around me and my acknowledgement of the small meaning so much.  Here's to 2019 hail and hearty!
