Luscombe Pines
Last night we discovered that the boiler was leaking at a steady rate. We located the biggest container we had and put it under the boiler. The plumber came this morning and soon found the problem which was to do with the hot water rather than the heating but he thought we really needed to turn the whole lot off, rather than risk damaging the boiler. The part's not immediately available so he may get it on Saturday or maybe Monday.
We've been out and got more fuel for the log burner and extricated a couple of electric heaters to keep the temperature up through the rest of the house. It's been a little colder today but fortunately the temperatures aren't too bad at the moment.
The subject for Wideangle Wednesday is 'The Natural World' and it's hosted by steveng this week as BobsBlips is swanning off on his hols. I saw some nice clouds so popped up to the heathland at Ashcombe where I could get the pines against the sky and I also got a little colour on the horizon.
