New library

The city council didn’t mess this one up, what a relief. We are so used to mishaps, budget creep issues, technical impossibilities or just tax money thrown down the drain, that is a blessing that the council managed to do the right thing this time.
The national railways moved out of our city center a few years ago and left the most amazing industrial estate behind. The workshop in which the locomotives were once serviced and overhauled has been converted into our new library with respect for its heritage and with a lot of old features still in place (see the extra).
