Another Dull Dark Day

Forecast 50% correct, we got the cold but not the sun.
A trip to John Lewis in Solihull this morning,Redilady was hoping to find some dinner plates and bedlinen in their sale. Success, the trip wasn't wasted. The town was very quiet, the car park half empty, and there were no buskers to provide a blip so I had to wait until we were home and dash across the road to what I call Nick's tree (it's in his garden). I've blipped it before, it blossoms twice a year. This winter it looks particularly good, all last year it looked as though it was dying.
