Another lunchtime wander around my new home location and this time I explored some of the permissive paths around Mountsorrel Quarry, which is fairly nearby. Given that it's said to be one of the largest granite quarries in Europe it is really well screened and hidden; you would have no idea there was a hole this big if you just drove around the local lanes. In the extra, which is an extreme crop, you can just see the university buildings in Loughborough.
