Loch an Eilean

Walked round the loch. Colours were fabulous weather glorious, only downside was the gazillions of people. It was busier than the Barras on a Sunday afternoon. I have also noticed that the vast majority of eateries in aviemore are somewhat small hence huge queues everywhere. We gave up and went to Carrbridge which was deserted then on to Granton on Spey. At bang on two thirty when we entered the Garth hotel, an exe Gestapo female guard said kitchen was SHUT! However we discovered a fantastic wee family restaurant called the Puffin. Food was amazing and service with a smile. Aviemore you have much to learn about hospitality!
