Gungey eye

I've got a 'gungey' eye. I woke up this morning and there was loads of gunge coming out of it. Ann has been cleaning it with cotton wool and warm water every few hours.

It doesn't bother me, but I don't understand why it's all gunged up in the winter?!

I haven't had a gungey eye since last summer when we were doing lots of walking in long grass. At that time the vet told Ann that he thought the long grass might have irritated my eyes. What do you think has irritated my eyes now?

.................... Can any of you lovely Blippers shed any light on this problem?????
