First of 2019

Yes, it’s the first meeting of our vegetable arranging class tonight.
The group has set some targets for the forthcoming year.
To double the number of members - only another person is needed
To be more democratic - it doesn’t seem right that the only competitor is also the only judge
And to increase our annual income - £1.14 last year was our best to date but ...
Anyway, our first task was to “ Use a vegetable, or herb, to suggest a pop group or star”
I had thought about The Black Eyed Peas or Elvis Parsley.
But I decided on this one.
( I guess most of you are too young to remember the prefabs that were built as a short term housing solution. They were expected to last about ten years but most lasted much longer than that)
