Taken before their time

This memorial, standing in the Holyrood cemetery in Newburgh on Ythan, commemorates the short lives of two sisters who both died at the age of 3 years, one in 1934 the other in 1937. A place to remember, also, all the thousands of young innocents who are currently being slaughtered in Syria and elsewhere.
