The end of a perfect day

After seeing in the New Year with a bottle of fizz I had a lie in this morning.

HtP joined me for lunch and we ate the rest of the yummy turkey soup.

As the weather was lovely we took the boys for a really long walk. As I’m sharing my car with my son there aren’t many opportunities when I can use my car. HtP drives a van for his gardening business and we can’t take the boys in it.

This is the stunning view looking towards Southampton as the sun started to go down.

We used the rest of the turkey in a turkey stir fry and we shredded some sprouts into it to. It was very nice.

I’ve not felt 100% this evening. HtP made me a hot honey and lemon. I’m probably going down with my son’s cold.
