guided by dad

Loved watching Eve getting cross as she suddenly found gears a bit more complicated on account of the mud.... but being gently reassured by her Dad. And she got on board with the mud swiftly - much happier to give up the attitude than I would be! This picture sums up how I feel about 2019 really.... a few unknowns and a bit of hesitation but confident in the big man upstairs to guide the way and hoping to enjoy the ride.

Copying Hamp5on and recording some daily gratefuls....

1. Waking up in a house full of lovely family and sharing a relaxed and bleary eyed breakfast of pain au chocolat;
2. Having energy to get up to Isaac in the night - I’m usually really moody about it but took a hefty dose of Vitamin D yesterday and it somehow makes a massive difference (though I would still prefer his teeth weren’t bothering him and we both slept);
3. Zeke’s tiny legs pedalling his bike on the trails - it looks impossible but he’s an absolute natural. And he has a gorgeous ability to wonder at the world as he goes which makes him a delight to run alongside!
