A last look

Today we entertained family and some close friends for a New Year's Day lunch...which did extend into the evening!  This was a lovely way to welcome in another year and I did not spend time photographing our guests.  Instead, when everyone had gone, I took a few shots of our still decorated home. This charming Nativity scene from the advent calendar bought for Violet last year, is my last seasonal blip -  except for maybe a bauble shot when I finally take down the decorations on TwelfthNight...
