At midnight we all danced in the street to Auld Lang Syne and watched fireworks. I wasn’t sure I’d make it to welcoming in the New Year as I was feeling pretty rubbish and fighting a sore throat.
Woke up full of cold so decided to head home to London early and get the journey over with.
The last few days have also been a bit anxious as Atticus, my daughters dog, slipped a disc and was operated on today. Fingers crossed he’ll make a full recovery, he’s very much part of the family of course.
