Barnwell

Happy New Year.

We went to Barnwell country park to try and catch the kingfishers. It was so busy and noisy that they were hiding. We had a lovely walk round and then wanted lunch only to find the cafe closed. We found a lovely pub in a very picturesque village nearby. We went back to Barnwell hoping everyone had gone home but no it was still really busy. We had another walk and I got the shots of the swan and seagull. The sun had come out and the light was lovely. The nearest I got to something exotic was the dragonfly and the only kingfisher colour was Chris's coat!!!
