New Year’s Day

We went to bed after watching the absolutely awful absolutely fabulous film.
Frustratingly, fireworks woke me up at midnight- took ages to get back to sleep - then woke again as I was so thirsty from the Chinese we had had for tea.

Awake on and off from 5 with Wom. Brought them down around 7am. Munchie started the new year with a spectacular bump- head butting the back of the chair and friction burn across her knee.

Headed to the park - had it to ourselves- Muncie went around the odd road track on her bike. A few ‘moments’ but she did it. Wom is getting more and more confident on two wheels too which is wonderful to see.

Popped to Sainsbury’s.
Supplies bought
Home for fish finger sandwiches which they demolished.

The end house in our row of cottages has a railway running around his garden. He had invited the row to go along. What a great time was had by all.

By the end Munchie was happily peddling the pedal train all on her own. Wom was riding the train on his own and loving it.
