New Year's Day at Leigh on Sea .... fabulous. We followed our loooong tradition of a New Year beach bbq (quayside this year) with a few admiring glances & comments from passers by & their pooches. The new, tiny, 7kw cooker is amazing! Bacon, sausages and tea! Then on to the pub for a pint listening to the Dusty Peddlers for their New Year set (see extra). The band brought along an entourage, standard lamps, lampshades, picture frames & bird cages, along with acoustic guitar, electric guitar, flugelhorn, double bass & drum. A great way to introduce Ollie to the new year.
