New Years Day Walk

It was a lovely day for a walk today. A few minutes after I took this picture Mary caught her foot on the side of a slope and fell and then rolled over hurting her ankle and her knee. Her ankle recovered but when we saw the injury to her knee we agreed she needed to be seen by someone at Hay Lodge Hospital. The nurses at Hay Lodge were lovely and very welcoming but they felt that Mary should go to A and E in Galashiels because of the depth of the injury. So thechimp took Mary to Gala where she had her wound stitched up.
