Happy New Year!

Here's number 1 for 2019.

There was a massive fire in Croydon last night. It was a Shurgard warehouse which means a fair few people storing their belongings will have had a rubbish start to the new year.

We could see it from our bedroom and it looked ferocious. I expect it was covered in that illegal cladding.

Today we had A's mum over for dinner again and we also invited J from a few doors down. We had a very nice vegetarian meal and a few games of Mind the Gap and Go Fish. So far it's been a calm start to the new year.

We've got lots planned for 2019. Trips to the Alps, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Gibraltar to see family and friends and a trip to Mauritius later in the year. It will be our silver wedding anniversary hence the far flung holiday...
