Take it to the bridge!

Just after midnight we took a short walk to the ring road, and mounted the steps to the bridge over the railway line.

You get a wonderful view of the fireworks from there without being in the thick of it and worrying about dodging rockets.

The animals were all OK, we took the decision to drug the cats this year, which was a good decision; one is absolutely terrified, the other is a little more laid back, but frightened all the same.
This year, with the help of tranquilizers, life was a little easier for them.
