Brrrrrilliant Fun

The sun shone, the water was just over six degrees and I had my silly hat on....what better way to start the New Year than swimming in the Quays!!

The course was two hundred and fifty metres for those who wanted to do it. A few just dipped in then out, some were rescued by boat....and a few of us who, once the pain from cold turned to numbness, did two circuits. I loved it.

There were over two hundred people and I went in the first wave. I feel so energised and ready for anything....well I’ll feel even better once I’ve had a hot shower!!
