Two minutes before midnight!

This was the scene from the apartment at around two minutes before midnight. The Princess Bridge was absolutely standing room only and you couldn’t put a match between the people. They were waiting to witness 7km’s of fireworks from 22 buildings in the Melbourne CBD. I’m happy to say we were very securely lurched 14 stories above street level and were ready for a spectacular light show.

Our good friends from Sydney arrived in time for us to have a lovely lunch at a local Italian restaurant before retreating to the Apartment to prepare for festivities.
